Mycology
One of the first mycological/mushrooming websites on the world wide web, MykoWeb, was founded by me in September, 1995. In October, 1996, Fred Stevens and I started the "Common Fungi of the San Francsico Bay Area", which eventually morphed into The Fungi of California. I was also the founder in 1996 (and webmaster for 12 years) of the website of the Mycological Society of San Francisco.
