Frequency Distribution of Fungal Records
The species frequency graph shows that almost of third of the species were collected at only one time (i.e., one foray) and on a single collecting route, and the majority of species were collected at three or fewer routes and times. This means that many of the species are fairly localized in space or time, or that few collectors happen to notice or collect them. A small number of species were collected on many routes on all the forays. You can see a list of the fifty most common species here
