Comments
Ramaria acrisiccescens is distinguished by large fruitbodies with elongated, parallel, crowded, white to cream branches with pink-tinged rounded tips, turning pale brown in age or when bruised. Additional characters include an acidic bitter taste, growth under conifers, and tissues that lack clamp connections. R. velocimutans is a similar clamped species with whitish to creamy beige coloration that stains brownish in age, and also has slightly more slender branches and narrower spores.
